In the video you will see one of the Best examples of what Church should be and what the Lord has called us the Body of Christ to do... spread His Word and Feed His sheep! This Church is awesome and I love the message that it is sending to the Nation and the World! We do not have time to sit on our tails and let people just go to Hell. The Lord said in Matthew 24: 9-14 9 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
So this means that someone has got to preach it and that will be the Church so we are going to have to start growing and really believing what we are preaching as the BODY! Its time for some music baby... get ready get set MUSIC! So this song is the BOMB I Love It and so does my friend Mary Beth Staggs, we like to sing it together as much as possible even though neither of us can sing! Here it is I hope that you like it to, it's called Background by Lecrea and C- lite!
Now you know that was tight if you haven't heard it whether you are a believer or not it is great song but if you are a believer you know that this song is too SICK because that is what we have to do as Christ Followers- we have to follow Him not go before Him! We have to be content in the background of His shadow, but lets be really which is the better shadow Christ's or Ours? I hope the answer is Christ's because as John 14: 6- 10 says, 6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really know me, you will know[b] my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”
8 Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”
9 Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. Sunday June 26th
Lets take some time to chill out... Sunday is a great day to see a salvation happen, you might ask why is that? Because that is the day most churches have their services and when the Gospel is preached you can bet that someone who does not know the Lord will want to have a relationship because they have finally stopped running from the call on their life. However, sometimes salivations happen not on Sunday or in a traditional way... here is the story of a man that became a Christ follower after he finally stopped running and persecuting the Church and became apart of the body. Man I love a salvation story because that means that I just got another brother or sister and the house is filling up! This is great so here you go:

Monday June 27th
I Love to re- visit the old days because they were the... "Good Ole Days" that will never happen again. Something old that I have decided to bring up is this song that I used to love when I was kid and could finally listen to any music I wanted within reason, the song is called "Black Brotha" by Angie Stone. I hope that you like but if not that is ok I still love it :) (disclaimer: the Lord is really the King and He is above the black brother).

Got to Get That WORD!
So I was going to write about this discussion that we had tonight at dinner on the "small side" of the dinner room but... I have decided not to do that because I just read this and it spoke to me way more so here it is I hope that you like it as much as I did!

Often in my life I’ve quit asking God for help with anything, thinking what’s the point – nothings happened. But I wasn’t viewing him rightly. I wasn’t believing that he could or would work in my life.
James 5:13-5 says “Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise. Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.”
James puts it so simply – “Let him pray.”
And we’re to pray expectantly, knowing God is a generous Father. Psalm 84:11 says “For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly.” I know I need to trust that the Lord knows what is the very best for me.
I was frustrated with God for a long time because I felt like I was giving him ample opportunity to show Himself to me and He wasn’t. I personally have never witnessed a miracle, had a vision, or any of the other intense things that one would like to see God do in their life. But I think God builds people up in different ways …some need miracles, etc. to believe and He grants that for them. But I don’t think that is where the real value is …the real meat of faith comes from believing in what we DON’T see …(Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.”) In fact Jesus was always getting angry when people only believed on the basis of miracles or kept asking for miraculous signs (Mark 8:11-12) …it seems He wanted people to believe because of something deeper …an unshakeable desire to be loved by something outside of themselves, etc. He says it plainly in John 20:29 …this is the story of doubting Thomas where Thomas only believes because he sees Christ in flesh and touches His nail scars. “Then Jesus told him, ‘Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.’”
Like I said, I know God has used certain trials in my life for my good. I truly believe it all happens for a reason. Ive grown so much closer to Him in especially the last year and am so grateful for all hes done in my life. So instead of giving up, Im going to keep asking in faith what I need to ask. Whether I see an answer here or when I meet him face to face, I serve a wonderful God."- Anonymous Author
Now I know that you can see the Truth Proclaimed through this... but I bet you would not think this was written by a girl that does not really even believe... she claims to be a Christian, but doubts many key things, all of which a true Christ Follower would say is not ok, like not believing Jesus Rose three days after his death on the Cross. I want you to know why I am posting this, it is because many people will say that they love the Lord with their lips and words but it will not be true in their hearts. These people will be both the lost that claim to be found and people that just want to make Christians look crazy. Beware of all that come to you because some will be wearing Sheep's clothing and are in fact wolves.

My Bad... Again!
Wednesday June 15th
Well, it is good that I have been in the Word like no bodies business... so I can tell you that the Lord is moving everyday all day! He is so GOOD guys and we do not deserve it because we are such sinful people but He still gives it freely, no strings attached!
The Lord has really been teaching me more and more about the next generation and the importance of community! However, He has also been teaching me things that I do not get warm fuzzies about like praying through the times that are the hardest because that is when your Faith really comes to the floor and when "the rubber meets the road"!
Psalm 38
1 LORD, do not rebuke me in your anger
or discipline me in your wrath.
2 Your arrows have pierced me,
and your hand has come down on me.
3 Because of your wrath there is no health in my body;
there is no soundness in my bones because of my sin.
4 My guilt has overwhelmed me
like a burden too heavy to bear.
5 My wounds fester and are loathsome
because of my sinful folly.
6 I am bowed down and brought very low;
all day long I go about mourning.
7 My back is filled with searing pain;
there is no health in my body.
8 I am feeble and utterly crushed;
I groan in anguish of heart.
9 All my longings lie open before you, Lord;
my sighing is not hidden from you.
10 My heart pounds, my strength fails me;
even the light has gone from my eyes.
11 My friends and companions avoid me because of my wounds;
my neighbors stay far away.
12 Those who want to kill me set their traps,
those who would harm me talk of my ruin;
all day long they scheme and lie.
13 I am like the deaf, who cannot hear,
like the mute, who cannot speak;

whose mouth can offer no reply.

When things are the hardest they have ever been and you do not feel the Lord at all and your health is being attacked, will you still stand firm? Will you know that the Lord is still the Lord and you are His? I feel like the Lord is teaching me o stand firm in Him even when I let my human/ sinful heart and emotions define our relationship! Man this is hard but it is GOOD STUFF!

I think that I am going to change Thrifty Thursdays to Try This Thursdays...! I want to change it because I just realized that I do not have that many ways to save every week at camp. I could just combine them both? I think that I will do that! I t will be "Thrifty/ Try This Thursdays" I like that! Trying this could be anything from food to a video I think you should watch! So today is a Try This and you should try this video called the "Lifehouse- Everything Skit" if you are a YoungLife leader you will want this to be at the next camp and if not you will still love this and may see a way that you could use it in your ministry. This is a great video that shows our struggles in the World and how the LORD never leaves us! Here you go:

I have been very convected about the way that I have been ragging on people because of the way they chose to dress... so I am going to give that up and create a new day called "Freedom Friday", on this day I will be writing about whatever I want to because it will be a free day, so it might be about something great that happened to me that day or that week, it could even be something that the Lord is teaching me and it might help you!?!
So today I am going to write what I just wrote to a friend of mine Nathan Wood about what the Lord is doing through me and in me at camp right now!
"I LOVE Camp it is so great because the Lord is here and MOVING! I had a camper come to Christ after lights out on the porch during a full moon while we listened to the waves crash on the shore!, it was GREAT! The Lord has given me a girl to mentor that will be a freshmen at Anderson next year she is great and so hungry her name is Sarah White! The Lord allowed me to speak to the high school counselors about their value as the next generation and how they must be firmly planted in the Lord as their foundation when they leave for college! It was great because the girl that asked me to speak asked me super late and I had no time to prepare so the HOLY SPIRIT just had to move! All this the Lord did when I was coming out of the valley and desert place! WOW!"

I LOVE MUSIC! It is the way I Worship the most... because I can really see the Lord move in me through my bodies reaction and the visions that I get when I close my eyes, and something that has been happening recently is see people in a way were I can see what their needs are or the Love of God on them! I Love It! Here is a music video that I got major convection from just by seeing the homeless old man! I don't know what the Lord wants from me when it comes to the homeless, but he is really breaking my heart for them!

Monday June 20th
Time flies that is for sure... because I thought it was just yesterday that I was a cool person but that is not true because the kids here at camp keep calling me Ma'am and that is super weird! Tuesday June 21st
OK so technically I am not suppose to tell this story... but I am going to tell it anyways because I can't remember who I promised I would not tell, and that definitely makes a promise void!
So here is the deal at camp we have to monitor the kids in the multi- purpose building for an hour during the time when the Chaplain talks to most of the other staff and counselors who are not on duty. So there is like 6 staff/ counselors and then all the kids during that session. And last week when they were in there they were just letting the kids throw balls around and a staff member saw another staff that they wanted to hit (typically guys). Well, the guy that throw the ball was a guy named Ben Thompson, who is a great guy, very nice and would never purposefully hit someone or really throw a ball at someone else, but day he decided to and that was not a good idea. Ben throw the ball with all his might and it hit the wall bounced off and smashed right into a little girls face. He never even noticed and still does not know that he did it and caused a girl to cry and weep saying, "why did he hit me?". Man, Ben I am sorry that I just told it but, it was hilarious!

Your going to Laugh til it hurts!
Hey Pepes let laugh together... so I love to laugh at people that do crazy things and this video shows one of those times! In this video you will find two ladies that are sisters who are on the show "Amazing Race". The task that they are to fulfill is hitting a knight with a watermelon sling shot! To get the full affect of the video you have to listen to what the sister not doing the task is saying to the other. You are going to laugh you bottom off! I hope that you get as much enjoyment as I did out of this! I just think, do we as Americans want to win so bad that we will throw our loved ones under the bus to win? Anyways that is all!

You need to WATCH!
This may not be old to you or in general really, but it is older to me... I sent this email out to some of my girl friends on April 19th with these commentary, I hope that you enjoy it because I did and it is the TRUTH!...
Hey Ladies,
An older girl that is leading me just sent me a great link and I want to share it with you!
A preface- I stand firm in my SINGLENESS because I know that the Lord has created a MAN of GOD just for me, so I will wait until he comes no matter what and if he never comes that is fine too, I will submit and surrender my life to CHRIST because He is my Bridegroom 1st and forever! Though I know and believe that sometimes I fall victim to sin just as every fleshly person and I want what I want not what God want; I decide in my mind that like society says i should be dating "That Guy" or "The Guy" because through him all my dreams will come true or because it is just what we have to do, but as women of God that is not what we are called to, we are called submit and surrender to Christ and His will and if He decides to Bless us with one of His Fearless Soldiers who are at war with the world for His name then we should gladly accept and love him the way God calls us to, but because we are firmly founded in the Lord we will never leave or first and one true Love- CHRIST!
Anyways, I am stepping off the pulpit! Here is a poem/ video that will tell you the way the Lord feels about you and how we should seek Him first!

Relax it's just a Walk
So today a couple of ladies and I from camp decided to go shopping after church for Caitlin's Birthday Day... Sarah Margaret, Mary Beth, Caitlin, and I all walked downtown and it was soooo relaxing since we had "Buddy Camp" these weekend! If you haven't done this you should try it at your nearest downtown. However, go in the morning or night because the afternoon is really Hot, if you live in the South... I am just saying!
The reason that I say strolling around downtown is so relaxing and fun is because I love people watching, not in a creepy way in a "look at this diversity" way! Since I love people watching I decide that I would share a little with yall so that if you thought this was weird or boring you might change your mind! Here is a picture of something that I saw while walking in downtown Charleston...

Yes, you are seeing this right that is a grown man with a puppy ChiWhuWhu placed in a puppy pouch thing! The Ladies and I might have purposely gone into this sunglass store to ask for a picture of him, hahaha! If you think what we did was wrong please think about the fact that this is a grown man that did this to himself and wanted us to take a picture of him and the dog once we asked for one, so this was not wrong. What are we coming to in America!

Long Time No See!
So let me see here, I have not written on here since... Tuesday May 24th and even then I did not do a typical day so I owe you almost two weeks of info! WOW that is a lot and you know that I don't have time for that but since I love blogging so much I will give them to you any ways so here they are the short additions...

Funny things are always happening around me because well... I attract funny since I am one of the funniest people God ever created (the fact that I just said that is funny)! Anyways, here is a video that I just could not stop laughing at! It is an oldie that I did not find so maybe you have seen it, if so that is cool pass it on!

Where the LORD is I want to be... And The Lord is at this camp (Camp St. Christopher) for sure and I love all the time I spend with Him here and all the things He is revealing to me too!
One of the things He is revealing to me is His Love and Passion for the next generation and the ways in which they should be raised up by the generation before them! When I was sitting in my bed the Lord allowed me to turn to Proverbs in His Holy Book (the Bible). I never really read Proverbs because... we I don't know why, but I will more often. Anyways, I was reading through Proverbs 3 and it was amazing the Lord revealed to me the way in which he youth should be raised up and the Love that the person doing the raising must have for the young person to impart such wisdom! I want to love the next generation the way Solomon speaks of in Proverbs and I know that with the Lord it will happen! The next generation is so important to the future that they should never be overlooked the way they are in today's society! If we believe in them then we should show it by raising them in such a way to show them Christ and positioning them in a way for them to respond to the Lord! Anyways, here is Proverbs 3 if you have never read it may the Lord reveal to you what He did to me! Things that are not HIP... my roommate at camp Sally Young wearing a sweater in the dead of summer, but she likes them and looks good in them so I will not say anything to hurt her rep! Other than the fact that I just said it on this Blog hahahaha! Another thing that is not in style this guy named Will Henry aka Presence wearing what he thinks is cool these velcro wal- mart shoes that look like boats! He looks redici but I know like 3 guys that had those shoes when they were his age and older... so I guess that is the fault of older Christian Guys like Will Plonk setting a bad example for the next generation!
Anyways that is all I have for you tonight on being Hip... don't wear those things!

Ok so everyone needs time to just chill after a hard day or week... Here is my suggestion! I think that you should try sitting in the arms of a loved one! I say that because everyone needs to feel Loved and feel the warmth of another human to feel the tangible Love of the LORD! So I say you should fall into the arms of a loved one and allow them to Pray over you as you rest! I did that on this day with my roommate (when I am at Clemson) Laura Newton and it was great! She is a praying women and loves touch so we just hugged for a while!

So I was suppose to write about something old... we one thing that I know to be old is the Word of the Lord, but it is the only book of its kind the oldest and most popular book ever printed! I personally love it and would LOVE it if the whole world loved it too! But I say all these things because the other day I was reading about the relationship a between to old guys in the Bible that loved each other super well! Here is the passage:

Funny Funny Funny! Today we had our first group of campers here at Camp St. Christopher! The campers come with their parents to camp, it is called "Buddy Camp". Though it is stressful having the parents looking down at you all the time it is great to have such young kids experience the Lord with their parents! Anyways getting to the funny! It was so funny to see the way the parent just let there child go wild and just do whatever! I was on Rec Hall games for over an hour, the most energy draining hour of my life! But before we got started the kids were all screaming into a large fan that we had in the Hall, seriously like 10 or 15 kids screaming in a huge fan! It was toooooo funny, picture coming soon! :) I hope that you thought it was a little funny if you can picture it, but it might have been a be there moment!

Well I have so much to say... about what the Lord is doing in my life right now as I am in His Word daily! However, tonight I am just going to share with you a little bite on Prayer!
I recently came out of a desert... like I mean a desert I have never been in before, but the Lord still LIVES and He got me through it (though I never heard Him when I was there I had to hold on to the fact that He was there)! Anyways, I have been a Praying machine since then! I LOVE PRAYER more than I ever have! I have been just praying randomly everywhere I go and out loud... actually really LOUD because a guy at camp heard me one day and said that he could hear everything I was saying :)!
Well what I wanted to say was be faithfully to the Lord and give Him your firstfruits and He will send down Blessing that you will not have room enough to receive!

I feel like I have not ever written anything about what is actually in because I am just drawn to fashion do nots! Like this one... do not try and be a Hipster Mom by wearing things that are not for your age group! I am not going to say much about this because I don't want to be too harsh but I will say to the moms "you do not look cool or good when you try and be hip and wear clothes that you should not wear because they are not for your age or they are too small". Love yourself and your children enough not to put them through your craziness!
That is all that I have! Sorry that all of that was so long, I just had to get it all out and not cheat yall from my thought because let all be really some of them are really great! :) JK

Sorry No Funny Just VICTORY!
I have to scream VICTORY at the top of my internet voice... because the Lord is so GOOD to me and all that chose to follow Him and put Him First in their lives! I am screaming Victory because I passed the Praxis today! I have taken the test 3 times and on my third attempt I passed, got the scores back today! I ran around Camp St. Chris screaming and telling anyone that would listen! The Lord really does answer Prayers because I know that I could not have passed with out Him! I just kept Praying that the Lord would make my wrong answers right and He did! So I will be at Clemson and Graduating next year and that is SWEET ACTION! I hope that yall will celebrate with me and start Praying radical Prayers because the Lord will answer them... He is alive and reigning!
The funny thing I guess could be that I doubted His power though I am a Christ Follower and Believe in Him, and though I doubted He still showed up and showed out! He will show you His power! I wish you could have seen my face when I passed, I ran right out the door screaming God is Good and Jesus is alive! But here is a picture of what I look like now...

Wow Animation!
Remember when you used to love... Disney Animation Movies, well you probs still do if you know what's good for ya!
Well tonight mot of the Camp St. Chris staff got together to watch Tangled one of the new Disney Animation for the present Elementary/ Middle generation. I think that it will do for this generation what Cinderella did for ours; however, guys are really into Tangled! The reason that we watched the movie was because a guy, Ben Thompson came upstairs and said, "hey guys can we watch Tangled, I heard it is really good". Then like all the other guy staff members came up to watch too! I don't know about you but that is not what I expect out of 18- 23 year old guys in college?!? However, I could be wrong! Also, David Pearson knew all the songs and sang along to all of them!!! I have provided you with a video of his singing at the bottom of this post.
Anyways, the point is you should definitely take it back to the good old days when life was all about juice boxes, Fruit by the FOOT, Spaghetti- Os and Dunk- o- roos. By getting a couple of those snacks and watching an old Disney movie like Fox and the Hound, Robin Hood, Aladin, Sleeping Beauty, or Mulan just some favorites I know are good! Then you could top it off by watching one of these new Disney Animations because they are hilarious, most of the jokes are for adults anyways so you will definitely get a laugh or two!

the breeze in my hair
Take your mind off your problems... and go on a drive with the tunes blasting and the windows down on a back country road where you can go the speed limit and enjoy God's Creation! Today has been a great day, I went to church, went to lunch, had some more Jesus time, dinner and now here! However the ride coming back from church was the BEST even though I thought is was going to be just an ok ride.
Let me tell you why!
The ride was about 35 to 40 minutes, I was riding with two guys from camp that I did not really know, and the car we were riding in did not have A/C. Now I want to preface this... I was not mad about any of these things they were all just aspects that might make a person indifferent to a situation, which is the way I was in mind. Though I wanted to get to know the guys and have a good time... so this what happened... We got into the car and started talking about music and they wanted to hear the Gospel that I had so we rolled the windows down and blared it, with the wind in our face and sun on our skin driving back to Camp. We drove down River Road on Johns Island without a care in the world just listening to the beat of the music. None of us talked but I enjoyed that ride and I think they did too! Funny that we did not talk and did not feel the need to either and still felt comfortable around each other... no awkward convo for us!
Anyways Moral of the story you can have a great time resting and relaxing by winding down the winds, tuning up your favorite music, and driving till you feel at peace. This could be a while so you might want to reserve some time!

His going to be FAMOUS one day!
This song sang to my soul!.. its called "Hope Comes Around the Bend" by my good friend Bradley Phillips! I chose this song because I LOVE it, and not just because this guy is my friend, but because its truly a great song!
The song is about... well I haven't actually asked Bradley (I tried to call him and find out, but as his friend I know that he never really answers), but I am going to guess/ tell you what I have gotten out of the song... the song tells me that Jesus' goodness still covers all even when we have nothing to give Him, showing how His Grace and Love covers His children, even when we think that we can still do life ourselves without Him, He will always find us and shine light into our lives... Well that's what I think and get out of the song!

TOMS...
Trends are always in... but not this one, BOYS with TOMS! However I will quote Michael Waldkirch who is defending them, "the shoes are comfortable, but there are only certain times I like looking like Peter Pan"!
The guys that should not be wearing TOMS are all others (but do buy some for a girlfriend, mom, friend that is a girl (as a birthday gift, but watch this because it could be perceived badly) or sister to support the children) and since I want to help guys with this problem I will list some examples...
So here are my thoughts, but you may disagree...
The only guys that should be wearing TOMS are the ones that wear skinny jeans because for some odd reason it fits and they are wearing skinny jeans so they are already different!
The guys that should not be wearing TOMS are all others (but do buy some for a girlfriend, mom, friend that is a girl (as a birthday gift, but watch this because it could be perceived badly) or sister to support the children) and since I want to help guys with this problem I will list some examples...
- Guys that chose to wear basketball shorts with their TOMS should not wear them!
- Guys that chose to wear cargo shorts with their TOMS should not wear them!
- Guys that are over the height of 5' 9... any taller and TOMS just look weird on your foot!
- Last but not least guys that are confused about what they want to wear... meaning they have on TOMS, khaki shorts, button up shirt, and a beanies this combinations is just weird!

Serving God... a Great Way to SAVE!
Keep yo Money in yo POCKET... and go to Christian Summer Camp! If you think that I am lying then just ask any person you know that is at a Christian camp now or has been. They will certainly tell you that they saved money because:
A) They did not have to spend a dime while there!
Why, some might ask... because serving the Lord means all your food, shelter, and clothing is taken care of by the camp.
If at a YoungLife camp you will have the best food ever, in the history of camp food. Also, YL camp has the best housing... its like 5 Star camping if you can even call it camping because everything is so nice and intentioally done! And if at Camp St. Christopher you will be given 1 shirt, 2 Polo's, and if you need any other clothing I am sure that you could find leftovers from the MudPit you just might smell like... well you know, if you ever been to Barrier Island as a kid because the scent is still etched in your olfactory memory! Also, at Camp St. Chris you will have the Best Community of Believers and TONS of Rest Time!
B) They Got PAID!
Now I will say that you do not get paid in cash at YL camp, it is completely volunteer but you do get paid every day by the way your relationship grows in the Lord because you will become completely dependent on Him! At Camp St. Chris you will get paid Cash on top of a growing relationship with Christ and a great Community!
C) And as we all know GAS is a Killer and when you are at camp you do not have to drive anywhere! Everything is within walking distance... WOW major savings!
Those are just some of the ways that you can save by doing a Christian Summer Camp at two of the camps that I have been to! What If...

He is moving here and I can't wait to tell you more as it unfolds! I hope that the summer days are long for you filled with good books, lemonade, and sweet thoughts on how to love God's people better!
Speaking of which I have been reading Radical by David Platt (a book gifted to me from Crosspoint Church, thanks so much for believing in college students!) which is one of the greatest Christian books because of the way David tells the truth the way that TRUTH is suppose to be told! On pg. 6 he quotes two persecuted Asian Christians, Ling and Shan. Ling says, "I am going to hard places to make the gospel known, and it is possible that I will lose my life in the process". And then Shan follows with "but our families understand. Our moms and dads have been in prison for their faith, and they have taught us that Jesus is worthy of all our devotion." WoW! What if we all actually thought and shared the gospel like Ling and our parents, friends and families supported us like Shan's?.. Total GAME CHANGER!?! We have all been called to a life completely surrendered to the Lord, one that only seeks to obey His will. If we call Him Lord why don't we actually live it out and share the Gospel the way it should be shared?.. Like FIRE BLAZING TRUTH!
... Well if you are looking to me for answers, I have none for ya! All I can say is ask these questions to yourself and to the Lord, I am sure that He might have an answer for you, He will also give you a way out of these behavors... though as we humans are in the habit of doing we will fail at correcting them, but Praise the Lord that we have a Savior that died for our failures and with His help we can only sucessed!

Speaking of which I have been reading Radical by David Platt (a book gifted to me from Crosspoint Church, thanks so much for believing in college students!) which is one of the greatest Christian books because of the way David tells the truth the way that TRUTH is suppose to be told! On pg. 6 he quotes two persecuted Asian Christians, Ling and Shan. Ling says, "I am going to hard places to make the gospel known, and it is possible that I will lose my life in the process". Time to Go back to the Summer Time!
I couldn't stop Laughing when I saw this... because it was just to much! How in the world could a loving mother do this to her child?
I don't understand what is going on with parents in America these days... are they so hard up for money in this economy that they are willing to make a complete fool out of their kids to see if Jonny or Mary Anna Catherine will get picked up by a commercial or get a spot on the Today Show and make some money before next weeks' power bill is due.
All I am saying is that just because little Junior wants to sing doesn't mean that he actually can! Therefore, as a parent you cannot let him go out and make a video like this one because it will be come a hit, not because of his voice or his lack of talent but because his singing and video is like a watching Animal Plant and seeing two wildebeest at the watering hole and then having the camera pan out where you can see a lioness come up behide them... knowing that what you are looking at is bad but you can't do anything to stop it, so you keep looking and just say, "Wow that stinks... want to go get some Fro- Yo?"
This also goes for that Friday girl too! Though I did hear her sing the National Anthem and she was good!?!

The Definition of a 90's summer
Remember when... this song was all that you wanted to listen to because it had everything summer meant in one song! Well lets go back there tonight and remember the good ole days when there was not a care in the world other than... "how late can I get my curfew to be this weekend without having the parental question me on where I am going?!" Well worry no more those days are over but we can all appreciate a good song from our youth... Len- Steal My Sunshine! I hope you Enjoy!

The Blog that will always give you something... Now what the something is, I don't even know!
Hello Fellow Bloggers,
I just want to start out and say I am a newbie at this so don't judge me to harshly on my first blog! Other than that lets have a good ole time!
I have decided to break this blog into a couple of things by day, while still adding my own flavor! Here is what I have come up with:
Mildew Monday, which will be a day dedecated to paying tribute to the trends, music, sayings, life choices, slang, television shows, and etc. of the culture that has already passed!
Too Funny Tuesday, which will be a day right out of the Sunday Funnies... I will be uploading the funniest clip, picture, or quote on this day because everyone needs to have fun on a Tuesday since the week has no end in sight on this day!
In the Word Wednesday, on this day I will be sharing with yall what the Lord has put on my heart, how he is breaking me, the latest news for Christ Followers, Prayer Request, and the best part things to Celebrate because Victory has been proclaimed in the Lord because we all need a pick me up on hump day Wednesday. I will also hit you with some GodTube videos too!
Thrifty Thursday, on this great day I will let you know what the new sales are and where to get the cheap stuff because as a college student I am always looking for a deal and I know others are too! So look for shopping, grocery, and other random deals that come my way and I can share with you!
Hipster Friday, I know this day does not have a rhyme scheme it is because my friends DKal and Benjo wanted to get on this Blog too! But on this day I will let you know what the latest trend/ fad is or what people think is a trend/ fad but only in their mind.
Symphony Saturday, MUISC Day on this day I will upload a video or song that I am in love with at the moment that could be Classical, Easy Listening, Christian, Folk, Pop, Country, or anything really!
Sabbath Sunday, this will be a great day because I will give you some tips on how you can rest/ relax! I feel like I do a lot of running around and sometimes I need to just take a break so I am going to try and help you do the same!
Well PEPS those are the days of the week that I have given a little character change to! I hope that you will enjoy them because I know I will even if no one else does!
